My Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical which is rooted in evidence-based practices, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused therapy, and brief therapy. Through the lens of CBT, I empower clients to explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, enabling them to develop healthier coping strategies and achieve their goals. Additionally, I embrace the solutions-focused approach, emphasizing strengths and encouraging clients to identify and build upon their existing resources to find solutions that work for them. Recognizing the value of time-sensitive interventions, I also integrate brief therapy techniques, providing targeted support to clients who prefer a focused and efficient therapeutic process. I value humor and authenticity, often using lightness to create a comfortable space where clients can open up. I focus on building genuine trust and connection while offering honest, compassionate feedback.
